Three college students under the influence of alcohol and cocaine died in an accident involving a Tesla Cybertruck on November 27, 2024.

Four college students were aboard a Cybertruck at the time of the accident that cost three of them their lives. They were all under the influence of alcohol and cocaine. The incident occurred in King & Hampton, Piedmont, California.

Soren Dixon, 19, was driving, while Jack Nelson, 20, Krysta Tsukahara, 19, and Jordan Miller, 20, were passengers. Only Miller survived.

A friend of Dixon’s, Matthew Riordan, told authorities he took the young man to his family’s Cybertruck and reported that Dixon didn’t like being so drunk. “His speech was normal, and he walked without difficulty,” Riordan said.

In a report obtained by the Daily Mail, it was stated that Riordan was following the Tesla closely when Dixon lost control on a sharp turn and crashed into a tree, going off the road, leaving the car in flames.

“I could hear Krysta screaming, and the car saying ‘accident detected’,” Riordan told the police.

Dixon, Nelson, and Tsukahara died of asphyxiation caused by smoke inhalation inside the vehicle.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) investigation revealed that Dixon had a blood alcohol content of 0.195% at the time of the accident. The causes of the accident are still under investigation.

All the college students involved in the accident were recent graduates of Piedmont High School.
